Pensacola Recreation and Activities
According to Wikipedia, Pensacola host tons of annual festivals, events, historic tours, and landmarks. For more than 30 years, Pensacola's historic downtown area has been home to the Pensacola Seafood Festival and the Pensacola Crawfish Festival. Later in the year, the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival generally sees more than 200 regional and international artists. The Children's Art Festival, held in Seville Square, is an annual event celebrating and showcasing artwork by schoolchildren from local schools.
There are also several walking tours of restored 18th-century-era neighborhoods in Pensacola.
Pensacola is also home to several historical war memorials, inclduing the Vietnam Veterans' Wall South, several installations from the Civil War, Fort Pickens (a temporary prison for Geronimo), the National Naval Aviation Museum, and the Pensacola Lighthouse at NAS Pensacola.
